Pressure Filters
Hybel PLF pressure filters have been developed to ensure functional protection of hydraulic components mounted in the output line of the Hybel PLF pressure filter. Therefore, these filters need to be installed close to the components that will be protected. The following aspects are decisive for the use of pressure filters:
• Components that are especially sensitive to contamination (eg servo valves or throttle valves) or are important to the function of an installation;
• Components that are especially expensive (eg large cylinders, servo valves and hydraulic motors), for the safety of an extremely significant installation;
• The cost of unproductive downtime and/or downtime is high.
Pressure filters are equipped with a contamination indicator and must not have a by-pass valve.
The absolute filter element promotes the filtration of very fine particles, therefore contributing to contamination control, according to ISO 4572/4406 and NAS 1632 standards.
